I'd like to be but those cards weren't dealt my way so allow me to go boldly forward with a consumer review from one not gifted with electronic wizardly traits. The Vizio has replaced my old rear projection Mitsubishi 65" model that bit the big one after about 10 years of service. I chose VIZIO E701i-A3 70-Inch as I choose most of my major purchases and that is, which can provide me the most bang for the buck?

After checking out the marketplace, it came down to the following manufacturers: Panasonic, Samsung, Sharp and Vizio. I gave $1600 for the Vizio, or $400 less than the Sharp and over a thousand under the 65" offerings of Panasonic and Samsung. Still, I wanted to be sure the VIZIO E701i-A3 70-Inch would hold up, offer up an excellent picture and be easy to use. Check, check and check...so far. I also have 2 Panasonics and one Samsung in my home but those are in secondary rooms. The Vizio would get the golden placement in the large family room so it had to be good. Summing up, based on picture size and quality for the price I paid, I'd have to give the Vizio two thumbs way up! The true test will be over time but for now, I have no problem in giving the Vizio 5 stars. Something else I found interesting is there was no detailed manual that came with VIZIO E701i-A3 70-Inch LED HDTV, only a quick setup guide which was handy. In order to get the big manual will require you to go online and download all 45 pages or some such. Perhaps Vizio knows that most consumers, like me, never read that voluminous info anyway?
